The Grand Unveiling!

No, this isn't a copycat blog post, this is indeed a NEW porch swing!  After overwhelming pins on Pinterest my dad decided to get busy in his shop and make a second swing and this time it's For Sale!!!!  Okay, was I right?  Are you all swooning yet?

SOLD

Once again, the back is made from an old door.
(Don't you just LOVE it?)

The spindles were laying around waiting to be put to good use, and the front posts are the table legs from a beautiful antique table.

The seat is made from wood we got out of a 100 year old house!

The medallion adds a special charm to this swing which is already bursting with loveliness.

Look at the key hole!

I was wondering about the comfort of the swing with the door panes and all, but I was very surprised and delighted at how easy it was to melt into the swing and prepare for an hours rest (or more!) with a cup of tea and a good book.  Oh my goodness, it swings gloriously!  Back and forth with the warm spring breeze blowing in your face!

Dimensions:
64" wide x 33" tall
Seat is 21" deep x 60" wide

The price of the swing is $975
